Who Are We?
Ralph Grizzle is the founder of The Avid Cruiser and River Cruise Advisor. He began his journalistic career at the age of 32 after spending a decade cycling across America, pedaling through Europe and island-hopping in the South Pacific. Few places have eluded Ralph’s grasp during his two decades as a professional travel writer, and he brings that knowledge, passion and experience to use here on River Cruise Advisor. Living in Asheville, North Carolina, Ralph’s work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and numerous consumer magazines. The North American Travel Journalism Association honored Ralph with the award for ‘Best Cruise Writing’ for his article in the 2005 issue of Hemispheres magazine, and he is the author of four books, including Remembering Charles Kuralt, a biography that Publisher’s Weekly called ‘a sweet and lovely homage, a welcome commemoration.’
Britton Frost is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She’s cruised, mostly with her dad, since before she was a year old.
